LUCY CLEARWATER

Born in a bathtub in a cookie factory in California, Lucy Clearwater is a contemporary folk/Americana singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and nature-loving old soul with a background in classical violin. Since moving to LA in 2016, she’s released numerous singles and EPs (Feel Again, Casual, Augenlieder, and April), sold out beloved venues like The Hotel Cafe, and graced iconic stages such as The Troubadour and The El Rey.

Drawing inspiration from the artists she grew up listening to such as Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, and Cat Stevens, she spent most of 2024 touring internationally, and sharing stages with artists like John Craigie, Madison Cunningham, and Victoria Canal to name a few. Clearwater won the 2024 New Folk Competition at the Kerrville Folk Festival, and returned for a notable performance on the main stage in 2025. Her heartfelt, vulnerable songwriting and rich acoustic sound resonate deeply. 

With the first single from her debut album (produced by Grammy award winning producer Tyler Chester) out in September 2025, the songbird is steadily leaving a trail of gem stones pointing toward her album release set for spring 2026.
