Forager on NPR's Tiny Desk Concerts!

After entering three Tiny Desk Contests and showing strong potential, Brooklyn based trio Forager made their debut on NPR's legendary Tiny Desk Concerts series.
Producer Bobby Carter says "FORAGER's music takes the scenic route; it's witty and unpredictable, yet deceptively powerful and unable to fit into any specific genre. Wide-eyed and enamoured with the space, the Brooklyn-based band invited a host of friends and family to watch what feels like a homecoming show."
"When I'm asked about what I look for in an entry to the Tiny Desk Contest, FORAGER is the band that I think about. All three of its Contest submissions have been featured on Top Shelf, the YouTube series that highlights our favorite entries, which means FORAGER has always been a strong contender. When we found out a few months ago that the band wouldn't return to the Contest because it had signed a record deal, we knew it was time to bring in FORAGER proper."

This was a genuinely useful overview, though a couple of the claims made me want to find more details independently afterward. The author's confidence in the argument made me curious to verify some of the specifics elsewhere. That curiosity is a sign the piece succeeded in sparking genuine interest in the topic. Thanks for such an engaging and thought-provoking piece.
I appreciated how this article balanced quick readability with genuine depth, which made it stand out clearly while I was scrolling through several others earlier today. The author trimmed anything unnecessary, keeping the piece focused on what actually mattered without unnecessary padding included anywhere throughout the discussion. That focus is exactly the kind of quality worth seeking out when deciding whether to see more from a particular writer regularly. I appreciated that the piece never felt rushed despite its relative brevity, managing to cover the subject thoroughly regardless of length. To see more written with this same efficient thoroughness, it's worth exploring further content. Thanks for such a focused and genuinely thorough piece.
I liked how this piece treated its subject with genuine curiosity rather than just delivering information flatly. The author's enthusiasm came through clearly, making the read feel more like a conversation than a lecture. That tone made even the more technical parts easier to stay engaged with. It's writing that clearly enjoys its own subject matter. For more enthusiastic, engaging writing like this, discover our blog and explore further. Thanks for such a genuinely enjoyable piece to read.
So happy to see Forager finally get that Tiny Desk spotlight after three tries. Their music sounds wonderfully unique, and it's inspiring when raw talent and persistence pay off like this. On a practical concert note, when I needed help with ticket transfers last month, the seatgeek customer service phone number came through for me. Hope they sell out every show after this well-deserved exposure.
