Darrell Scott Performance from Americana Honors on Austin City Limits!


Recently honored as an American Music Association Lifetime Achievement Award Winner, Darrell Scott will be featured performing “You’ll Never Leave Harlan Alive,” backed by the amazing house band led by Buddy Miller! Fun fact: Darrell and Buddy were in Robert Plant’s revived Band of Joy for the album and subsequent tours in 2010 and 2011!

Did you miss highlights of the 24th annual Americana Honors & Awards? No worries, our friends at PBS are once again partnering with us to present a special episode of Austin City Limits featuring must-see performances by our 2025 Americana Award-winners and honorees.


Starting on Saturday night, you can watch our episode to catch performances by Medium Build, Maggie Rose, Jesse Welles, Old 97's, I'm With Her, Darrell Scott, Nathaniel Rateliff with Dave Rawlings & Gillian Welch, Dawes, Joy Oladokun, Margo Price & John C. Reilly, Emmylou Harris & Daniel Lanois and John Fogerty.


You'll also be able to see our reigning musical director Buddy Miller lead his Americana All-Star Band made up of Don Was, The McCrary Sisters, Fred Eltringham, Jen Gunderman, Jim Hoke, and Larry Campbell.
